If you've been following along you have noticed that I've spent this entire week lauding, drooling over and extolling the virtues of (and every other synonym my Thesaurus will give me for the word "recommend") our Fort Squad - a remote running and strength program led by The Queen of Burpees herself, Jess Movold.
Believe me, no one is as surprised as I am.
Usually I'm out here talking about deadlift PRs, getting all emo about what the gym could mean to you and, at the very least, taking an easy pot-shot at Justin Bieber.
But if you have been reading every genius word I've put out so far this week you will also know that I have tremendous admiration for Jess, her growing Fort Squad and the program itself.
While I feel like I've done a solid job giving you all the reasons this could be a great fitness fit for you in 2024, I've neglected to give you any real details about what the program includes.
Let me remedy that now.
Today, in our final post on the topic, we are going to remove the mystery. We're going to shed the veil. We're going to take off the mask. (This thesaurus really is paying for itself!) And we're going to tell you what the program is all about.
The Fort Squad has three different membership options. All involve both running and strength training programs.
The first option is for people who already train at The Fort two to three times per week. Since you already have your strength training bases covered the Fort Squad is going to provide you with a running program that incorporates 3 to 4 programmed runs per week based on your fitness level, goals and availability. If you ever wondered, "what can I do to take my training even further" or "what should I do on the days I'm not in the gym to get in even better shape" this is the option for you.
The second is a fully remote option for those of you who either want to get in great shape through a combination of running and strength training or for those of you who already run but need a program that gets the balance of strength and running dialed in so you can become a stronger, faster runner and more resistant to injuries.
The third option is also fully remote and also includes both a strength training and running plan. The difference here is that you have a specific race on the calendar and you need to be perfectly prepared and peaked so you can put on your best performance on the big day.
It's important to know that all the options are customized to your current level, equipment availability and goals. You'll receive detailed videos, access to the Monday night group huddles, custom apps with exercise videos and specific pace targets, access to a very active community group chat and, of course, Jess as your personal coach.
It's really all the support, access and information you need to make your most of your time on the road, at the track and in the gym.
If you are as excited about this as I am - and you should be - I want to invite you to sign up for a discover call with Jess by clicking THIS (calendly.com) link.
And if that is too subtle for you....

She'll learn more about you and your goals and let you know if the Squad is a good fit for you. Not to sound overly dramatic, but it's a call that can change your life.
Remember, we are opening registration early for you, our loyal readership. The Fort Squad enrollment will be open to the general public next week so if you want to get in before spots are gone, this is your best chance. I can't recommend it enough.
I appreciate you taking the time to get through all these emails this week. I'll be back next week with my standard nonsense (actually, it's a really vulnerable post next week so if you like those, stay tuned).
The rules of email say I must leave you with a call to action. And since I don't want my marketing license taken away from me here, once again, is the link to get on a call with Jess and find out if the Fort Squad is for you.
